Frequently asked questions
Where do I find my player tag?
Open Clash of Clans, tap your name or XP badge in the top-left corner to open your profile, and copy the tag under your name (it starts with #). Paste it in ClanScope → Search → Players.
Why can't I see a clan's war log?
Clan leaders can make the war log private in the game. When it is private, the official API does not return it, so ClanScope cannot show it either.
The current war says the clan is not in war.
The war screen only shows data while the clan is in preparation or battle day, or right after a war ends. During Clan War League, open the CWL screen instead.
How does "Verify ownership" work?
In the game open Settings → More Settings → API Token and tap Show. Paste that one-time token into ClanScope. The app sends it once to the official API to confirm the account is yours. The token is never stored.
How fresh is the data?
Data comes from the official Clash of Clans API and is cached for up to a few minutes. Pull down on any screen to refresh. Offline, the app shows the last copy it saved and marks it as offline.
How do I remove my data?
Settings → Data → "Clear offline cache" and "Remove all followed villages" delete everything ClanScope stores on your device. Uninstalling the app also removes it. See the Privacy Policy for analytics and crash data.
Is ClanScope made by Supercell?
No. ClanScope is an independent fan-made app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Supercell.
